Can you drink water wearing invisalign?

Water is, in fact, the only drink you are allowed to drink while wearing your Invisalign aligners. The only beverage you are able to drink safely when wearing aligners that are clear is water. Beware of drinking hot or cold water, however, as the higher temperature can cause warping of the aligner and make it less effective, or even irritation to your gums.
If your teeth are tender after switching to a different aligner, drink some cold water. The cold temperature can help ease the discomfort and ease inflammation. With Invisalign, it is possible to technically drink whatever you want. However, here are the some:
sparkling water:
It is not recommended to drink sparkling water when wearing Invisalign aligners since it can cause stains on the aligners or damage your teeth.
In some instances, your Invisalign provider might permit you to consume sparkling water in moderation if it is not laced with sugar or dyes and you’re aware of the risk of carbonation on the enamel.
Coffee:
It is possible to consume coffee or tea while you are in Invisalign treatment, however, you need to take off the aligners.
Tea and coffee can be prone to staining your aligners attachments, and even your teeth!
Hot beverages can also cause damage to your aligners. With or without a straw you should still take off your aligners when you drink tea or coffee.
Drinks:
You can consume wine, alcohol or soda, juice as well as other drinks during Invisalign treatment. As with all aligners, you must take off the aligners in order to drink them.
Note:
Drink water with other drinks to wash off tannins, sugars, and other bacteria. If you’re not able to clean your teeth prior to placing aligners in again during the day, rinse them with water or mouthwash.
