It is not right for your girlfriend to be hitting you at all. This kind of behavior is simply not acceptable in any relationship. Your girlfriend should not be putting her hands on you because that is abuse and it is a form of destructive behavior. The best thing for you to do is let your girlfriend know that this behavior is not acceptable. Tell her that she can’t keep putting her hands on you or you’re going to leave her. Also, if it gets very violent, then you need to call the cops and let them know what is going on. You also need to document everything that she did to you so that you can have proof.

Your girlfriend could be hitting you because she has an anger problem or because she’s used to doing this. She probably did this to other guys that she dated in the past. Regardless of why she’s doing it, it’s not a good thing for her to hit you and you should not put up with it either.
